'Doubt of the Benefit' has just been released. His first book, 'The Fifth Identity', a mystery thriller, was published by Amazon as an e-book in 2012. The second book, 'Cut to the Chase', a thriller, was published in 2014 and was published as a paperback by Sid Harta Publishers of Melbourne and distributed through Dennis Jones & Associates of Bayswater.

Ray Scott was born in Kent, in England and lived for many years in the Midlands near Birmingham where he completed his secondary education at Halesowen Grammar School. After National Service in the Royal Navy Ray was later employed in the insurance industry in Birmingham and Wolverhampton. He and his wife Mary emigrated to Australia in 1970 and Ray joined the insurance industry in Melbourne. Ray and his wife Mary became Australian citizens in 1976 and have lived in Frankston, Victoria since 1971. They have two sons living in Australia, both are married with families.

His first book, ‘The Man Who Had Five Lives’, a mystery thriller, was published by Amazon as an e-book in 2012. This is being re-released as an e-book through Dennis Jones & Associates with a new title: “The Fifth Identity” in 2016.

A fourth book, “Double Dutch” was published as a paperback by Silverbird Publishing in 2019 and is available through Amazon as an e-book.

A fifth book, “Line of Dissent” was published as a paperback also by Silverbird Publishing in 2023 and is available through Amazon as an e-book.
